FAQ

All Your Questions About Sheet Metal Laser Cutting Answered.

We have collected a range of the frequently asked questions from our customers about sheet metal laser cutting and listed some of questions and answers. We hope they assist you when starting new sheet metal fabrication.

If you can not find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to contact us by phone, email or contact form. We would be happy to help you in more detail.

Typically, standard quotations are provided within 5 days, while more complex design drawings may require 7-10 days for a comprehensive response.

We accept and work with design files in AutoCAD and SolidWorks formats. For 2D drawings, DWG and DXF formats are preferred, while for 3D drawings, we recommend STP and IGS formats.

We accept sketches, 2D, and 3D files. However, if providing a sketch, there may be an additional charge for computer-aided drawing services.

The lead time for sample production depends on the complexity of the drawing, the completeness of the provided files, and whether surface treatment is required. Typically, it is within 2 weeks. Feel free to contact us for a quotation.

We use Japanese AMADA machines. We have 3 laser and punching composite processing machines, and a specialist tube cutting machine equipped with an exchange platform capable of cutting flat sheets.

Our laser cutting equipment includes models with capacities of 1500 watts and 2000 watts, with the highest reaching up to 3000 watts. There are two types of laser sources for laser cutting: CO2 laser and fiber laser.

  • The maximum punching thickness for all materials is 2.0 mm. For laser cutting, the maximum thickness varies as follows: SPCC 22.0 mm, SUS304 12.0 mm, AL5052 10.0 mm, Brass 8.0 mm, and Copper 5.0 mm.

  • For tube processing, the maximum load capacity is 200 kg, with a processing length of 6000 mm. The processing ranges are as follows: round tubes 19-220 mm, square tubes/channel iron 19-150 mm, flat tubes 19-125 mm, and angle iron 19-90 mm.

  • Important considerations: A 218 mm clamping edge must be reserved for tubes, and no additional material can be processed beyond this edge. Optimal processing is achieved with a maximum length of 6000 mm per tube. Additionally, for flat tubes exceeding 125 mm, separate processing arrangements are necessary.

The operators utilize dedicated pneumatic tools or specialized deburring machines to remove burrs from the cut edges to guarantee the best possible finish for our customers.

Our Advantage – Leveraging extensive experience, we optimize the sequence of cutting and processing, coupled with the use of leveling equipment. Post-cutting, the material undergoes leveling processing to maintain flatness, ensuring stable quality for subsequent bending operations.

Our company ensures confidentiality through the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) between both parties. Quotations and communication are conducted through secure email channels. We employ a rigorous electronic drawing system to control and safeguard customer confidential information.

We have a team of 9 mechanical engineers in the design department and 2 product designers.
