Optimized living spaces are explored through the future house concept
The concept of the THNS good living spaces exhibition has a special focus each year, and is arranged in categories that reflect that focus. For 2026 the exhibition explored the future house, with a wide range of exhibits that were focused on interdisciplinary collaborations to deliver a visionary perspective on how to optimize living spaces.
As specialists in sheet metal fabrication, this type of design exhibition is a very valuable experience for us to identify current trends in sheet metal design and to explore partnerships with our customers that enhance their products as well as giving us an opportunity to demonstrate our technical capabilities and expertise in supporting artists and designers to turn their ideas into reality.
Turning off exhibition lighting created opportunities for ambient illumination
A feature of the 2026 good living spaces exhibition was the conceptual ‘turning off the lights.’ Global, indiscriminate and general lighting was turned off for the exhibition, allowing individual exhibitors and groups of exhibitors to set up their own preferred ambience for their exhibition zones and exhibits. This enabled the exhibits to more naturally represent the intended look and feel of exhibitors for their products.
